How co-op works
Up to three players share the campaign locally or online as Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya. The Wizard creates and moves objects, the Knight fights and blocks hazards, and the Thief uses arrows and a grappling hook to solve physics-based traversal together.
About this game
Trine Enchanted Edition brings three distinct heroes together in a physics-driven puzzle platformer set in a lush fairytale kingdom. A wizard, thief, and knight must cooperate to navigate treacherous castles and bizarre contraptions, each character offering unique abilities that unlock creative solutions. The experience thrives in true co-op, where players coordinate to manipulate objects, build paths, and survive dangers through shared ingenuity.

The core loop revolves around environmental puzzles that require conjuring boxes, swinging across chasms, or smashing through obstacles. Physics interactions mean improvisation and chaos often blend together, especially when friends pile conjured platforms or grapple onto each other mid-flight. Communication becomes essential as puzzles grow layered and timing-sensitive.
Both online and local co-op are fully supported, including split-screen and single-screen modes depending on the setup. Sessions reward experimentation and laughter, turning elaborate contraptions into collaborative playgrounds where off-the-wall ideas sometimes work better than careful plans.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many players can play together in co-op?
Trine Enchanted Edition supports up to 3 players in co-op, with each player controlling one of the three heroes: the wizard, thief, or knight.
Can we play together on the same couch or does it require multiple computers?
You can play both ways. The game supports local co-op with shared/split-screen modes on the same system, as well as online co-op if you want to play remotely with friends.
Do we need good communication to play this co-op, or can we just jump in casually?
Communication definitely helps since the physics-based puzzles often require coordinating abilities and timing between the three heroes. That said, experimentation and improvisation are part of the fun, so casual sessions can work-just expect some chaotic moments when players pile up conjured platforms or accidentally grapple onto each other.
