How co-op works
Two local players share the story and open-world areas, switching among the custom Rookie and DC villains and using their different powers to fight, explore, and solve character-specific obstacles. Steam Remote Play Together supports the same split-screen session with a remote partner.
About this game
LEGO® DC Super-Villains flips the script by putting players in the boots of the DC Universe's most notorious baddies. You create and customize your own super-villain, then join forces with the likes of the Joker, Harley Quinn, and Lex Luthor to take on an impostor Justice League. The entire campaign is built for drop-in, drop-out co-op, letting a second player jump in whenever chaos calls.

Gameplay blends classic LEGO brick-bashing combat with environmental puzzles that ask you to combine villain powers in creative ways. Players swap between characters to exploit unique abilities, from freeze rays to mind control, and the custom villain you design slots right into the roster. The slapstick humor and destructible environments keep the energy high when you're playing alongside a friend.
Local co-op supports both shared-screen and split-screen modes, and Steam Remote Play extends that to online sessions. Whether you're sitting side-by-side on the couch or coordinating over voice chat, the game rewards lighthearted teamwork and experimentation more than strict tactics.
