How co-op works
Two to six players connect station screens to crew one bridge while a captain coordinates helm, weapons, science, communications, and engineering. Officers exchange targeting, navigation, and power information to defend the sector; fighter pilots and additional human-controlled ships can expand the session.
About this game
Artemis Cosmos puts players at the helm of a simulated spaceship bridge, where each crew member takes on a specialized station to defend against the Kralien and Torgoth threats. This is true cooperative play, requiring constant communication and role coordination as you manage helm, weapons, engineering, science, communications, and command stations across tense encounters.

Each player controls a specific station interface with unique responsibilities, from plotting jump coordinates to managing energy distribution and targeting hostile vessels. The challenge lies in synchronizing actions under pressure, calling out critical information, and adapting tactics as battles unfold. The depth of each role keeps sessions engaging whether you are a seasoned captain or a rookie engineer.
Artemis Cosmos supports online co-op and LAN play for crews who want to coordinate over voice chat or in the same room. The spaceship bridge setup rewards clear communication and teamwork, making every mission feel like a real bridge crew working through the chaos of deep space combat together.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many players do I need for a full crew?
Artemis Cosmos supports up to six players, with each crew member taking on a specialized station like helm, weapons, engineering, science, communications, or command. You can play with fewer people, but a full crew gives you the complete bridge simulation experience with every station manned.
Can we play together in the same room or does it require online play?
You can do both. Artemis Cosmos supports LAN co-op for local network play, which is perfect for getting together in the same room, as well as online co-op if your crew is spread out. Either way, voice chat is highly recommended since the game is built around constant communication between stations.
What does each station actually do during a mission?
Each station has unique responsibilities that require coordination. Helm plots course and controls movement, weapons handles targeting and firing, engineering manages power distribution across ship systems, science scans and identifies threats, communications handles interactions with other ships and stations, and command coordinates the overall strategy. You'll need to call out information and sync actions to succeed.
Is voice chat necessary or can we play with text/pings?
While the game doesn't technically require voice chat, it's communication-heavy by design and really benefits from being able to talk quickly. You'll be calling out jump coordinates, enemy positions, power requests, and tactical decisions under pressure, so voice makes the bridge simulation work much better than text alone.
